Reception Area Design & Fit Out in Birmingham
The Reception of Maple House had a full facelift. The Owners wanted the Reception to feel more welcoming when entering the building along with new pieces of furniture and eye catching features. To start with, we sat down with the customers and talked about ways to make the reception feel more open, which was to get rid of the handrails, open up the the stairs so the first thing you see when you walk in is the bespoke, maple & steel reception desk. After a few CAD designs they agreed on a colour scheme and lay out they preferred and we got to work building the desk, which is one of the most eye catching features with its contrast of maple and steel and with the company name highlighted in the steel, which we topped off with a flat white Corian worktop.
We then cladded the lifts with maple and plastered around giving it a sleek finish. The Steel for the desk was Custom made along with custom signs for the outside of the building along with floor numbers for each floor. All the steel was previously sprayed at our workshop ready for instalment. This was a challenging job working through the night for the job to be completed on time but well worth it. The attention to detail particularly on the desk and the Maple Rivets make this reception live up to the buildings name.
